Many kids may require a bit of dragging to make it out of bed in the morning. And let’s face it: waking up the kids isn’t necessarily the most fun part of your day, especially if you’re not sure you’re all that awake yourself.
But the years of kids asleep in bedrooms down the hall are wonderful and precious. Wouldn't it be nice if your kids, all grown up and looking back on their childhood years, could still conjure up wonderful memories of being at home, simply by encountering a particular fragrance they smelled every morning during those years?
With the simple tools of Essential Oils and a spray bottle, they can do just that.
Which oils? You’ll want something that is pleasant but has energizing qualities to help sleepy kids get going. CITRUS OILS are a great wake-up tool that you can use every morning (except Saturdays--Sleep-In Day!).
Make a mix in a small spray bottle (or get a special spray top to fit your empty oil bottles) and try spritzing a few times in the bedrooms while you wake up your sleepy heads.
The aroma will remain even after you leave to go to the other kids’ rooms or the kitchen. So it’s kind like having you in the room longer to keep nudging them to wake up. Give it a try!
