STEP 20 – A RELAXING BATH

It may never have occurred to you that the words “Bath,” “Kids,” and “Relaxing” could EVER go together!

It is true that the combination of water, toys, splashing, and bubbles can make bath time crazy, but the end result can still be relaxation...if you play your cards right.

Using LAVENDER Essential Oil in the bath time is like having a superhero to the rescue and produces some excellent calming effects.

SLEEPYTIME BATH RECIPE

• 1 c. Epsom Salt

• 1 c. Baking Soda

• 3 drops Lavender Essential Oil

Add Epsom Salt and Baking Soda to empty tub. Add Essential Oil to dry mixture and swirl around to combine. Fill the tub with the appropriate temperature water to just the right depth and your kids will be relaxed and ready for bed in no time. Bonus points for the cleanliness.

Now maybe if your spouse can watch the kids or turn on a video for 30 minutes, you could take a relaxing bath yourself!

Here are some soothing, detoxing bath recipes to help you release all the stress of the day, because ladies, the end is in sight!

CLEAR BREATHING BATH SALT RECIPE

• 1/2 c. Baking soda

• 1 c. Epsom salt

• 1 c. Kosher salt

• 5 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil

• 5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil

NIGHTTIME SLUMBER BATH SALT RECIPE

• 1/2 c. Baking soda

• 1 c. Epsom salt

• 1 c. Kosher salt

• 5 drops Bergamot Essential Oil

• 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil

Add Salts and Baking Soda to empty tub. Add Essential Oils to dry mixture and swirl around to combine. Fill tub and soak away the day!
